Introduction
The ESF48H100 MPPT solar controller is an advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) battery charger for standalone photovoltaic (PV) systems up to 5.2 kW. The controller has a high peak efficiency of 99.5% and conversion efficiency of 98%.
The solar charger controller works at 12V, 24V, and 48vdc, it accepts wide PV input rang up to 250V.
It has one 100A MPPT tracker and consumes only 1.5W at idle.
It has input overcurrent protection for the MPPT tracker, when the PV array produces more than what the controller is rated for, it will limit the input current.
It has various battery charging algorithms, intelligent discharge control, RS485 communication for convenient integrated management and secondary development. It also can be remote monitored via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
The solar charger is designed with positive ground, only the positive terminal can be bonded to the ground.
In a negative ground system, the charger should be left either ungrounded or bonded to a separate ground cable.
Connecting its positive terminal to the negative ground cable will damage it permanently, and it is not covered under warranty.
The Wi-Fi /Bluetooth module isn’t offered for free with the solar charger, it is sold separately.
